Description

Two vertical forms—perhaps faces, perhaps totems—are locked behind thick horizontal bars. One glows faintly red; the other fades into grey. The composition is stark, with a grid-like structure that hints at confinement or surveillance. It’s a painting of distance: emotional, spatial, and possibly political. The restraint and formal tension bring to mind the psychological unease of Giacometti’s existential portraits and the cool detachment of mid-century modern abstraction, tinged with noir.
